NAMA Women Advancement Establishment is a company based in the UAE. They support women entrepreneurs and promote gender equity through their work. Their programme in London involved observing and learning from social enterprises in London with the objective of taking new learnings home.
They specifically wanted to create content that could be used online, highlighting their journey and learnings in London.
We identified that Instagram was the best social media channel for their use and tailored content for that platform. We provided 10-20 photos per day, a 60 seconds highlights video of each day and a three minute highlights video of the whole week, to be used in presentations.
4Talent supports young people to build futures in the media industry. They were looking for a new flyer to be designed for outreach use at Careers fairs, events and opportunities at Channel 4.
We organised a focus group of young people who met with the 4Talent team and fed into what would make a flyer appealing and interesting to other young people. We created a design that not only speaks to, but is created through the lens of young people and is representative of Channel 4’s diverse and innovative nature.
“It was a pleasure working with Iconic Steps to design our new 4Talent flyer, and we were very pleased with the final product. Communication throughout the project was seamless” Yasmin Mehmet, 4Talent
Lambeth’s Elevate Programme, funded by the Mayor of London, sought to support diverse talent and open up the workplace to under-represented communities. They wanted to reach as wide an audience as possible using film to promote their campaign and engage the audience.
We created a promotional video to be exhibited at the launch of the Elevate Programme (see below). Three more videos were created post launch, highlighting the activities happening across the programme, including interviews with people working on Elevate’s innovative projects. We set a specific time limit to the videos, ensuring they were impactful and able to capture the audience’s attention within a few minutes.
“Produced lively, vibrant films that capture the spirit of ELEVATE and were creative, flexible, professional and responsive throughout”. Vicky Long, Lambeth Council
